Hinabol

The Hinabol fabric used to make this Address book is special because the Higaonon weavers only weave when they are happy and at ease. The fabric is also unique because no two designs of Hinabol fabric is the same as the weaver can only weave based on her dreams, what she was feeling and the events that were happening around the weaver at the time the fabric is being woven.

Materials: Hinabol fabric made from abaca (naturally dyed),
Fabric from: Impasugong, Bukidnon, Philippines
Traditional use of fabric: Peace offering gift and also used in weddings as gift of the bride's family to the groom's family

The fabric is proudly made by artisans from Kalandang Weavers (Peace Weavers) and assembled by
men and women of Kilusan Pinagkaisahan, Inc. and Case Arts and Crafts of Makati City and Morong, Rizal respectively.
