Traditional use:
Ka-be' or the Bidayuh lidded baskets were originally made from uwe rattan, and lined with raye' leaves when storing cooked rice.

This contemporary scaled-down version is woven from very thin strips of undyed bamboo.

Contemporary use:
As a decorative gift box or convenient potpourri holder.
