Traditional use:
Kerton or Jakun lidded containers were originally small containers to keep gambir, areca nut or tobacco, housed within an epok pandanus betel-box.
These tripod containers have been scaled-up and made as a nesting set. The name of the containers literally translates as "scorpion leg container".
Contemporary use:
As a set of unique hold-alls or funky table ornaments.
