This jungle camouflage colored bujam (the Mah Meri pouch) is woven from hake’ (pandanus) leaves.
Each bujam is handmade and one of a kind
The bujam is traditionally used to carry tobacco leaves and rolled tobacco, betel nuts, coins and money. It comes with an inner coarser-woven lining of pandanus for durability.
The motif woven into the bujam is that of the "manggis hati" as it resembles the mangosteen fruit arranged in a heart shape.
This bujam can be used as a unique iPod case to protect your iPod from scratches and dust. It can also be used as an all-purpose carry pouch to store mobile phone, name cards, petty cash, keys and loose coins.
